BABY SPACE OPERA | Mouat’s Family Series

Perhaps the youngest audience ArtSpring has ever catered for? Foolish Operations’ Baby Space Opera is designed especially for babies aged 6-24 months and their adults, transforming theatre into a playful and sensory-rich adventure. Young audiences are invited to explore a colourful universe filled with music, movement, sound and imagination, in an environment created specifically for them—whilst also welcoming us all to a collective meditation on our place in the infinite universe. That leads to a poetry for the senses: video projections of stars, nebulae, light and colour, and shiny materials in props, costumes and sets, alongside movement and music. This is theatre at its most playful, accessible, and magical. Created for 6–24 months, these shows will take place in the smaller, less daunting space at Mahon Hall on Rainbow Road; tickets and any questions are via the ArtSpring Box Office.
