A Celebration of Palestinian Resistance: Food and stories with chef Izzeldin Bukhari
Palestine Action Salt Spring Island warmly welcomes Chef Izzeldin Bukhari from Sacred Cuisine at Beaver Point Hall on July 20th for a celebration of Palestinian cuisine and storytelling. Join us for a celebration of Palestinian resistance with chef Izzeldin Bukhari of Sacred Cuisine, visiting from the Old City of Jerusalem. Dinner will be at Beaver Point Hall. Doors open at 5 with dinner to be served at 6. Chef Izzeldin will share a multi course vegetarian/vegan meal of traditional Palestinian foods and delight you with stories about the dishes’ ingredients, history and how they reflect Palestinian culture.
