Piecemeal - Opening Reception
The Salty Pear Gallery presents Piecemeal, an evolving exhibition featuring 24 Salt Spring Island artists working across painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, textiles and mixed media. Both a showcase and a revolving collection, Piecemeal reflects how creative practices and livelihoods on Salt Spring are assembled through a patchwork of careers & interests, unconventional schedules, shared resources and fortuitous moments of gathering. Located on a five-acre farm just a short walk from Ganges, The Salty Pear is an intimate gallery, creative space and gathering place founded by multidisciplinary artist, curator and cultural producer Annika Hagen. Piecemeal is on view until mid-January 2027. Gallery hours will be posted to the site after the opening, with private viewings available by appointment. Visit saltypear.ca for more information.
