On Wednesday, July 15th, Ocean Wise is bringing its incredible travelling Sea Dome experience right to our library — complete with a six-metre inflatable dome, stunning underwater filmography, real marine artifacts, and hands-on discovery stations. This is not your average library event. Ocean Wise’s mobile education team travels across Canada sharing the wonders of the sea with communities of all kinds – and we’re thrilled to welcome them to Salt Spring Island, where the Salish Sea is practically our backyard.
