All Saints After Dark is thrilled to be presenting Andromeda’s Ocean and Hownd Thursday, Aug 6, 7pm at All Saints Church. Andromeda’s Ocean (Kyla McMahon) will be performing songs from her upcoming album entitled ‘Winter’. She says “this album is about honouring the winter as we all have our seasons in life, and it’s also a celebration of crawling out of the winter. It is an ode to and a ceremony for my pain, with the understanding and gratitude for experiencing contrast. I have this saying that has come from the creation of this album and it’s ‘for without the winter I wouldn’t know the sweetness of the blossoming spring’.” The album was produced by Hownd (Justin Kelly) who will be joining Kyla on guitar. He will also play a set of his original songs. Kyla says Justin has “added a lot of colour to my songs and a lot of character, a lot of beauty” HOWND An old soul with a gift for mindful songwriting, Hownd (Justin Kelley) is an artist, instrumentalist, producer and engineer. He has honed a soulful, guitar-driven sound as a solo artist over a decade of recording and performing original music.
