MODULATIONS: Music at Mahon ft. Wood Land
As part of the Artcraft Showcase exhibition Groove Noir, Salt Spring Arts Council presents MODULATIONS: Music at Mahon, a new evening series bringing live music onto the Mahon Hall Stage. Wood Land performs two nights, June 12 and June 17, from 7 to 9 PM, with special guest Chris Gestrin joining on June 12. Born from a chance encounter on a ferry, Wood Land brings together four Salt Spring musicians exploring grooves, melodies, and progressions that feel both familiar and unexpected. Their sound moves through tight rhythmic pockets, open drones, drums, guitars, keyboards, trumpet, and the occasional train whistle, inviting listeners to slow down while travelling somewhere new.
